The Next Generation of Democratic Leaders

January 6th proved the existential threat the 2020 election posed to American democracy. In that moment of crisis, President Joe Biden stepped up to protect the Constitution and like he said, serve as “a bridge to the next generation of leaders.”

On July 21st, President Biden announced his decision to no longer seek re-election, reaffirming his lifelong commitment to putting service to his country above all else.

Under his leadership, we made leaps and bounds towards a more fair and free America.

With Kamala Harris as the 47th President of the United States, we will continue that journey of progress and prosperity. Vice President Harris is more than a history-maker, she’s a courageous leader who makes the best case for a collective, positive vision for our country’s future.

We are still staring down some of humanity’s greatest challenges to date, and both of the leaders at the top of the ticket must be willing to bring people together and craft collaborative solutions without compromising our key values.

When it comes to our next Vice President, thankfully, we have a deep bench of diverse Democratic leaders. Our party is full of trailblazers that people can look up to from across the country. These folks are an antidote to the current assumption that politics are divisive and irrelevant, earning back trust and respect for public servants as they roll up their sleeves and deliver results that actually live up to that title.

These are the forward-thinking leaders we need to join forces with Vice President Harris to win the White House and tackle immediate and long-term issues such as access to healthcare and housing, protecting unalienable rights, and securing global harmony in the face of climate change.
