Governor Josh Shapiro is more than a leader, he’s a doer. 

Among his peers, Governor Shapiro stands out as the only top executive successfully navigating a split legislature— collecting key wins despite facing the challenge of a Republican Senate and a Democratic General Assembly.

His ability to find common ground and drive bipartisan problem-solving underscores his commitment to effective governance.

In a testament to his proactive approach, Shapiro achieved the seemingly impossible feat of repairing I-95 just twelve days after the Summer 2023 collapse.  This accomplishment not only demonstrates his dedication to infrastructure improvement but also showcases his hands-on style of decision-making.

Thanks to the grit and determination of operating engineers, laborers, cement finishers, carpenters, teamsters, and so many other proud union workers doing shifts around the clock, I-95 is reopening. And it’s ahead of schedule. I want to thank Governor Shapiro for his great work and leadership.
